Utilize resources or tools to manage information.
In LIS 703 we utilized various resources and tools to manage complicated information. For example, Classification Web, RDA Toolkit, WebDewey, and many other resources were introduced to us as ways to learn how to properly catalog materials in library settings. Through these resources, we learned how to apply Dublin Core, HTML, and XM rules. We learned hands on how these processes worked, and ultimately, why these codes are vital to the continuation of libraries across the world. As a demonstration of this learning outcome, please see attached my final exam document. This exam was a combination of reflective writing and applicable demonstrations of MARC coding. It is a great example of how I was able to utilize resources and tools to manage information in its purest form.
