Goal 3: Navigate, curate and create information across the spectrum of human records.
Lesson plans are an essential way to curate information, create avenues to learn it, and navigate what is most likely a topic you have never endeavored to teach before. For LIS 725 we put together lesson plans for various subjects. I chose digital citizenship, and while navigating I-SAIL Standards, curating resources for digital citizenship, and creating an engaging lesson plan, I developed a plan that intertwined digital citizenship and civil rights. This project not only taught me how to create a proper and thorough lesson plan, but cemented the importance of these skills as an information sciences professional.
